​Jeff Stewart - Hart County High School, Director of Bands

Mr. Stewart has served as the Director of Bands at Hart County High School since 2026. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Young Harris College in 2014, where he performed on trombone, bass and voice in the concert band, jazz band, chamber choir and theater productions in pit. After undergrad, he earned his Masters in Performance on trombone from Georgia Southern University in 2016. There, he performed with the GSU Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, and Trombone Ensemble. In 2022, Mr. Stewart finished his Specialist degree online from Augusta University. Prior to teaching at the HCHS, Mr. Stewart has taught band at Greene County High School from 2016-2022 and then Hart County Middle School from 2022-2026. In addition to teaching, Mr. Stewart enjoys performing on bass at church and is also a member of the Atlanta Wedding Band which performs around the state. When on breaks, he enjoys saltwater fishing and fly fishing. Presently, Mr. Stewart lives in Hartwell Ga, along with his wife Kristen and their dog Toby.
